Beldoran is a large, rocky planet that orbits a binary star system - this means it has two suns - and a single large moon. The gravitational forces that act upon the planet are strong. Even the dense atmosphere experiences tidal forces.

The climate is temperate - on average slightly warmer than Earth - with structured seasons. Tropical storms are common around the equator which gradually dissipate towards the poles.

As suggested with life on Earth, Beldoran’s life began in the oceans. The aquatic origins can still be seen in many organisms, explored further in individual creature profiles.

Life has radiated to fill every niche available on the planet with vast and varied ecosystems covering the planet.

Our role, the reader, is that of an outside observer. We watch and record the life of Beldoran without ever intervening in the natural processes. There is no end goal to our observations other than to simply watch evolution take its course.

Are we advanced humans watching from afar; extra-terrestials collecting data across the stars; or just a concept with no real form? That, reader, is for you to interpret.
